Bair is located in several states but hasjust opened an office here in the Lynchburg area. They are a profound Christian based foster placing agency that desires "to provide Christ-centered quality care and services dedicated to the treatment, restoration, and empowerment of children, youth, and families." 

Braley and Thompson provide exceptional community-based treatment programming to serve the needs of children and families throughout Virginia.   Programs in Lynchburg focus on treatment foster care.

When a child's future hangs in the balance, we are there. We are the CASA movement. We are trained volunteers who step up to assist judges and serve our community's most vulnerable children as court-appointed special advocates (CASA).

Impact Living Services exist to change outcomes for children and families in foster care or at risk of entering the foster care system. We understand that lives are transformed through relationships and comprehensive services that are evidence based with the outcome in mind.  We have independent living programs as well as therapeutic foster care.

Intercept Health has offices across the state, they have an array of services that they provide to children and families. In Lynchburg programs that are offered include home-based services, mental health skill building services, therapeutic foster care and an independent living  and parenting skills training.

VKB mobilizes government, faith-based, business and creative leaders around the goal of permanency and belonging for every child. Combining grassroots and “grasstops” methods, Virginia’s Kids Belong runs innovative initiatives in states to help ensure that every child is in a loving home by: recruiting more foster and adoptive families, engaging wrap-around support for at-risk, foster & adoptive families along the way, and helping youth who have aged out without a family reach their full potential.
